Ok Chuck

What if the fee were always 15%?
Would we complain? Too much?

The fees are out of control...
BUT when I buy them I know damn well they’ll be on their when I checkout. If I am going to an event and only want to spend a hundred on a ticket, I know that I better find one for $65 or so before I check out. It is what it is.

Fun fact, Ticketmaster’s business model is basically to take the hate from high ticket prices so the artists and venues don’t get the backlash.

Oh I know. I just can't understand how they justify it.
I think remember in the mid 90's Pearl Jam tried to go with some other ticket company and it was a cluster fck. Glad they at least tried.
If it's a smaller event and not a lot of BS involved, I wish more events and venues would cut out ticketmaster.

Shits lame bruh
Still probably gonna buy the tickets. Might not get another chance to see them.

Word. It's stupid but the FMV of the ticket has to be calculated with fees like an airline ticket. What's annoying is that it just seems like it has to be a Sherman act violation.

They wanted their tickets to be affordable for their fans. How much do Pearl Jam tickets cost today? Average price has to be at least $100.

Wife works for a concert venue. Most people don't realize if you just stop by and buy directly....no fees. Granted this doesn't work for the ones that sell out quickly. At least for the place she works which is all live nation shows.

These fees only exist to make these companies a profit.
Uhh, yeah dumbass. That’s how business works.

Yeah, it's amazing. I've thought about getting an AmEx card just for that purpose only.

What I really hate is "convenience fee."

Then don’t buy them
Anddddd I don’t.
The list of concerts/shows I would go to drops a bunch between $35 and $70. It’s crazy that the fees double the overall cost.

But T shirt prices haven't changed in 30 years.

Well you have a service fee, a ticket fee, a counter fee, then state taxes, and federal taxes
Don’t forget a “convience fee” if you choose to print the tickets at home.

Agreed. Bought some MLB tickets yesterday and the fee was $26/ticket.
