Fees on Event Ticket prices are out of control

I'm buying tickets for a concert. The face value of the tickets are 37.50 per ticket. With fees it's 64.25. WTF! This shite is out of control. These fees only exist to make these companies a profit.

I went to the Tuscaloosa amphitheatre box office to buy a ticket for a concert there, yet still had to pay Ticket master fees.
I really don't know why artists don't really bitch more about this. No doubt they lose fans because of the insane fees.
Unless they are getting a major cut of these fees.

I wish. Every show I'm interested in is sold out 1 min after they go on sale. So who is buying all the tickets in 1 minute? The ticket companies. Legalized scalping.

It’s just stupid. Purchased a beer fest ticket a few years ago. Ticket was $40 and the fees were $8.
It does seem that many of the smaller events are figuring out better and cheaper ways to do this

The Saenger has an extra $27 worth of fees on top of the face value of the ticket. A $30 ticket at the HOB has an extra $10 service fee. Its getting ridiculous.
