I vehemently opposed Jason Williams, teedy and this retard Sheriff.

Your point doesn't make much sense.

If it doesn't make sense, it's because its the same stupid logic you tried to use.

Federal authorities appear poised to take the prosecution of accused killer and Costco carjacker Tyrese Harris away from Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams’ office.

I think the Feds might even take him away

But the local DA is on record last Nov. 10 refusing an armed robbery case against Harris submitted by the NOPD after an alleged car theft at gunpoint that occurred in August 2021.

These progressive DA’s should be jailed for malfeasance

Feds probably want to do an even worse job than Jason Williams on this one. Probably gonna try a holistic midnight basketball approach.

Not possible to do worse than Williams here.

Yeah, but most of us in NOLA didn’t vote Williams or Teedy in. The whole clumping us together bullshite is why he said it.

Exactly - I wonder how many people that voted for them actually voted

I say this without the slightest bit of bravado or hyperbole….

While I absolutely do not want violence or wish bad things for anybody ever, some family member of a victim of one of these no cash bail/no charge releasees is going to kill one of the judges/DAs and a lot of us aren’t going to bat an eye.

I can't remember the last time that anyone I voted for won in Orleans parish.

There have been a few, but not in the last couple years. In the not too distant past we had Joseph Cao (R) in the House, though it took freezers and briefcases full of cash and scandal to beat Dollar Bill Jefferson.

Plus Cannizaro as DA, Nagin for mayor (did ok before Katrina). Kristin Palmer was ok on the council and I voted for her, before she went overboard with tearing out traffic lanes and replacing them with bike lanes. (Can we fix the streets before turning over the smooth lanes of travel to bikes?)

I think the Soros money (and other progressive PACs) have had a huge influence here and elsewhere in the last few years. Relatives in Houston are already sick of the progressive judges that recently swept elections there.

There is nothing that should be more embarrassing to an elected DA than this grab by the feds. At its core, it’s a vote of no confidence and my suspicion is WH and high level congressional Dems realize this story will crush them in the mid terms.

That said, Williams is still my projected favorite to be next Mayor of NOLA.

Damn. Williams had just reduced the charges to jaywalking and loitering.
