Fayettechill is nice. The problem with it is you are so secluded from everything. Beach, (real) mountains, interesting cities.

Had a blast there this past weekend at the AU/UoA game.
Awesome little town for sure. Will go back in a heartbeat!

Same here. We left impressed with the area. It reminded us of a more conservative Asheville, NC.

I concur with the OP. Been to couple games there (LSU and other) and came away impressed. It can get pretty miserable cold up there but.......

Great. I can fly directly to most places from CHS. Except for NY, most places are expensive. Is Fayetteville the same?

Fayetteville is great, but the real Gem is Bentonville about 20 minutes north.
If you are in your 20s Fayetteville is probably the right call. 30 and above Bentonville is where you want to be.
