Who knows how this virus will spread, respond etc. . . probably the best sign you are hearing from an actual expert is their willingness to concede how many unknown variables are in play.

However, one thing is very clear:

Elementary school children who paid attention that day in your class would do better than half this board in simply understanding the concept of exponential growth to the basic level necessary for intelligent discussion.

You’d have a lot more than that. 1 cent per day growing exponentially over 31 days would be over 10.7 Million dollars.
