He has told us that schools should stay closed, football and other sports should not be played,that houses of worship should be closed, bars and restaurants should be closed, that we should wear a mask in public, and that we should social distance in public.
Yet when confronted with a question as to whether thousands of people clearly not social distancing, all not wearing masks, congregating for hours on end in close proximity together should be banned along with ALL OF THE OTHER THINGS HE IS AGAINST, he cannot answer in the affirmative.

I think the proper response from someone in his position is that obviously large gatherings will result in transmission as the virus doesn’t discriminate. But, he should also say he can’t speak on constitutional issues such as the right to practice religion or protest, and that is for elected leaders to decide.
