6 months later she was busted blowing her boss at work.

in West Monroe, in the 60's, the local gearhead wild man's marriage lasted 2 weeks.

I know someone that spent 100K on wedding. Had reception at the old state capital. Separated 6 months later.

11 months. Wife’s female cousin got married outside, mid afternoon, in July near college station. Not only was the wedding outside, but the following reception was as well. I threw away the suit I wore at the hotel. It was soaking wet by the time we left. Not sure why it failed but I think the dude realized he was actually gay. Everybody I talked to assumed he was.

Then the cousin has the audacity to invite us to her 2nd wedding in San Antonio in June this year, not 2 years later. Nah

Two of my wife friends from college come to mind. Both hurried up and got pregnant what musta been hours after the ceremony. One ended maybe 2 years after the kid was born, think they really didn't know each other as a couple which gave them no shot at being new parents that quick.

The other one was maybe less than a year, but the dude was certifiably insane. He would go to "work" everyday, but the wife came to find out he hadn't had a job in years...he would just go on walks and get high. Blew our minds lol

I stood in an outside wedding at a St Francisville plantation in July. It was miserable. It didn't help that all of us groomsman rode in a limo together and had a good amount of booze before the wedding.

Ours wasn't some random, spur of the moment thing. We went to Vegas to get married because we didn't want to blow a bunch of money on a wedding.

Oh, ours was too. We did it because we wanted a cheap way for all of our families and friends could attend. The actual ceremony was very nice and well done in a chapel deep within Caesars and away from everything.

Anyone spending that much on a wedding isn't marriage material. I don't care whose money you are spending.

That's outrageous.

One of societies immutable truths.

My sister in law does this shite with every relationship and ALL of them end badly.

A couple (both educated professionals, first marriage) got married on a Saturday. They delayed the honeymoon. Husband, a college professor, bangs a student and gets caught. They were living in different homes by the Saturday following the wedding.

This was a long time ago and I have no pics, but the bride and the student were both good looking women.

I've seen a couple last less than a year. Both when one of the parties remarried in haste after a divorce.

My sister did this. Her and her first husband had been together close to 20 years. After their divorce she started dating, got in a relationship, he proposed after about six months, courthouse wedding, and filed for divorced within a year. He was a nice guy and successful, but had some serious depression issues that didn't reveal themselves until after they married.

Also, one of my best friends called off his wedding a month before the date, and his ex got engaged to someone else within 6 months. They aren't married yet, but I'm patiently waiting for that one to go down in flames. Glad my buddy figured out how much she sucks before they were married, but I do feel bad for her new dude and his two kids.

I don't understand this. Who is paying the bills? How does she not know that he is not bringing in money? Unless he was also a weed dealer....

Not weddings, but there's a girl that used to work for our oil field company that I've seen posted on here over the years, Stacey M. I think now she's a bartender at some cajun food joint on Hwy 90.
She's been engaged no less than 4 times, all very publically on social media. Of course, while in love she's posting every sunshine moment but then all of a sudden she goes silent for months. then she's back at it again with some new guy.

She's got an 8 or 9 year old with 1 of the first guys. All of the guys are your typical oil field type family trash/workout steroid bros that inhabits the Lafayette/New Iberia area & these young beautiful girls keep falling in love with for some reason.
