That’s a BMI of 25.8 which is overweight.

I think that's a generality. I am still pretty muscular compared, to other people. Especially in my upper body.
I got up over 200 lbs. when I was driving a truck, but I worked hard to lose that a few years ago.
I could maybe stand to lose 10 more lbs. but I'm not sweating it too much.

Yeah, a couple posted that I'm not getting enough calories because we divided up a tuna sub and a few others telling me I'm overweight.
Doesn't bother me, I have to live in the real world.

I own a retail/service business. My prices are up about 30% since 2019 and our biggest complaint is price. However, my wages are up 39% since 2019. If you don’t raise your prices you will be out of business. There is an absolute cause and effect here.

Now that every company has an app to place orders with "deals" and "rewards" it makes the shite so hard to avoid.

Is it really that hard to avoid buying fast food?

if a Big Mac was $20 because there is a large segment of America that will still pay it because they are addicted. I believe it. Everyone is fat and lazy it seems.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's worse than that (fat and lazy)... true addiction, with withdrawals and such, for many people eating it everyday. We have a lot of additives and stuff we allow in our food that other nations don't... I wouldn't be surprised if those added ingredients to our processed food causes a true mental addiction.

M2 is up over 40% since 2020 if I recall. CPI is a fabricated #.

frick these fast food price gouges. They made $14B in profit last year.

It’s not about the gouging.

It’s about the gorging.

Fast food places have herds of fatties lining up to pay anything for their calories and heart disease. Let them.

Another good reason for people to just eat at home. It’s not that hard. And I can shop for wayyyyyy less than eating out.

BMI is a trash measurement. Body fat % is far better. You don’t know what else ole boy has going on either. He might have the cleanest bloodwork ever seen but because his weight is north of an Ethiopian, he’s in bad shape? Hogwash.

remember in 2020 and into 2021 whenever any place that sold chicken (particularly Canes, Chick-fil-a, and all of the popular wing places), said that the price increase was just temporary in order to keep up with the cost at the time?

Or the delivery fee Pizza hut added at the time of Sky high Fuel prices that were only temporary. That was like 20 years ago and it was 99 cent. Look now if you order Pizza from them its like 5.99.

bullshite. Fatties are still going. Criminal price increases? How about criminal increases in minimum wages? Morons thinking burger flipping and fryer operating are worth $15- $20/hr. States like California that are driving up the cost of transportation in attempting to regulate diesel trucks out of existence. Companies are going to pass all the costs to the consumers one way or another, consumers should be smarter about who they vote for and their policies. Won't happen though, they'll cry about the prices while still stuffing their mouths...

And yet, here they are worried and dropping prices.

If you can prove that I wanna talk. I'll make you rich and I will retire "slightly" richer.
