Drank beer with John Daly at a Hooters and talked for about an hour. Had no idea who he was until he left and the waitress told me. Really nice guy.

Michael Strahan is really cool. I stayed across the hall from him at the W in NOLA. His girlfriend was a fox.

Shared elevator with Rory McElroy. Seemed pretty chill, I was star struck and didn’t say much. Weird feeling having elevator stop and see Rory enter elevator. This was at ATL hotel when PGA was at Atlanta athletic club around 2011.

Visited ATL pink pony and ended up spending a considerable amount of time w Praia rai. She likes to party, or at least she did... fun times

I met Joel Davis from sports shorts radio one time and my life has never been the same since.

Met lots of musicians local most of The Neville Bros. Puppy love with Barbara Menendez The Cold, lots of very famous reggae stars, numerous occasions too many to name. Jimmy the Greek, Jim Plunkett, danced with a Raiderette next to Archie Manning. Super 15 victory after party. Matuzak...look him up savage. Night before the NFC championship vs the Rams I went out with a friend that came in from LA..anyway, we go meet up with her friends and they were Dianna Russini, Jane Slater, Mike Silver, and a couple NFLN producers. Drank all night with them. All were a cool time. I woke up in bed hungover and turned the tv on to see both Russini doing her tv shot for ESPN and slater for NFLN. They didn’t even seemed fazed on little sleep lol

In the ‘80s I landed a one-on-one, hour-long newspaper interview over lunch with actor Robert Duval. A regular guy.

About 5 years ago I was at the MGM in Vegas and chatted away about nothing specific with an unimpressive-looking black dude for about 10 or so minutes while waiting on a drink. He was really cool. Then several more young black guys came over and escorted him away. We just said “bye, you take care.” A white guy then edged closer and asked “what did y’all talk about, eh.” I said “why, nothing big deal.” He said, “you kidding. That was the champ. He’s fighting this weekend.” It was Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Coached against David Carr in a 7 on 7 youth football tourney in Bakersfield, CA a couple years back.

Great guy. Prayed with and for our team before and after the match, and took pics/signed autographs for them.

Really awesome guy.

as a tadpole my dad introduced me to Gen Curtis LeMay.
This was on the flight line at Barksdale AFB around 1958. Found a signed photo of LeMay in my dad's papers after his passing. There was a WW11 connection/Eight AF

One summer when I was younger we stayed at the same hotel in Spain that the USA Olympic basketball team was staying in. I saw Lebron walking down the hall heading towards the gym. I walked up to him and shook his hand. I sat in the lobby before dinner and saw thew whole team on the way to a scrimmage.
