Well at least she has a career path as a future Gatorade Fit model

Don't nobody step on a scale, ladies, lest someone find out you're fat!
Yeah, I'm thinking everyone already knew she was morbidly obese before she even stepped on that scale. It's not like that's something you can hide when going swimming.

The disappointment for not being able to sue for negligent death >>>>>>fatass 13 yo daughter

The park was wrong though for having a big sign saying "WHALE SCALE" with a big arrow pointing down at the scale.

A 205 pound 13 year old and a 205 pound adult male have VERY different body types and the physics of the slide will effect them very differently
It’s also possible that this is a kids only slide with a hard and fast weight limit.
Upon further review/reading, it has to do with the tubes not the ride itself. The ride is for everyone, including kids, and the 200lb limit is for everyone until they get new tubes that can better handle 200lb+.

The amount of ridicule directed at this kid is strange even for the OT.

the best part about this is that these fat fricks are so stupid that they relive the embarrassment by taking this story to the news
that poor kid

The ridicule should be for her parents. She's a kid, it's not her fault

a lot of 13 year old girls are pretty much damn near full grown. i would say that there needs to be severe discreet procedures in place for situations like this.

The park likely should have had a sign at the bottom of the ride with the weight limit, but the irony of complaining about public humiliation and then running to the media to broadcast the story is too much.

That other teen fell out that ride for being too big so I’m ok with that.

“The disappointment that she felt by not being able to ride the brand-new ride was definitely overshadowed by the public humiliation of being asked to step on a scale,” Batton says. “Then further than that, being told that you’re overweight.”
So to help their daughter’s feeling of being publicly humiliated in front of just a few people, her parents decide to make this public to everyone
Brilliant

Good news for the Batton Family (season ticket holders to the water park), the park received new XXXL tube's for the Mississippi Monster TODAY that will now accommodate their fat asses with no problem.

these people probably haven't seen scale outside of a make your own Yogurt shop in years.
I doubt they know their weight.

And then, you name it the Mississippi Monster....it is named after what very well may be the fattest state in the damn country.
So, you thinking Mississippi Mud Pie would be a better name?

Publicly humiliated > publicly decapitated

That aside, they only designed it for a 200 pound person? In America?
