I hate to break it to you, but facebook already sells its users data.
Well, they use your data to provide a service in which businesses pay them for. Either way, FB depends on its users. If there was some type of protest and there was a campaign to get people to delete their FB account and it was done on a large scale.
But if that happened, it would confuse the hell out of boomers. First, they wouldn't know how to delete their account and then don't even bother trying to explain to them how FB uses their data.. It would also cause a mass collapse in MLM companies.
