As someone who pays quarterly taxes, I think if everyone paid qtrly taxes there'd be the biggest tax revolt in the world here. frick the IRS, frick the state of La, and double frick JBE.

Don't worry, they are professionals . They will use it very efficiently and in the public good, in ways that you can not even comprehend. We've been getting reamed for several years but this year it really got bad. Last years bump up the ole proverbial corporate ladder put us in a higher bracket. I would almost rather be where I was than shell out this much money. It's sickening.

I don't know why people get caught up in the amount of the check. I'm much more concerned with the percentages. If you paid $100k in taxes on $1MM income, I don't really have much sympathy for you either.
