I'm with you man. My wife gets paid overtime with 1099s. I didn't know. Wife didn't know the difference. Savings took a hit to say the least

Yea because it's every American (and illegal alien)'s write to have 10 pair of $150+ shoes, the newest iPhone, rims worth more then their car, a car, etc... You should be proud of helping fellow Americans reach their American Dream.

As a self-employed person myself I agree with you. The worst thing that the government ever did was withholding. If every working person would write a check every week then they would understand. All they see is what net they deposit.
