Sad they can’t track a freaking jet.
We don’t have a magical anti stealth beam on our radar, and there probably wasn’t a military radar set in the area anyway.

He was trying to fire a rocket and got the wrong button and he became the rocket. Honest mistake.

If they're flying stateside, they're almost certainly doing so with a transponder on, right?

Did we forget to put a black box transponder in this unit?

Holy crap, I am in Hilton head and saw 4 of them flying around yesterday. It was probably one of them.
They fly over our place quite a bit on their way back into Beaufort. That's the only place they fly out of around here, so they're usually pretty low when they go over.

You can track transponders and I never see them turned on in fast movers outside of T-38’s. Either they don’t have them or always off.

To quote their local Representative, "How the hell do you lose a F-35?"
They did recover the pilot who is still in the hospital. There was mention that the transponder on the plane wasn't responding.

I think I know why it's still flying.

I saw a B-1 on ADS-B a while back. That was the first time I had ever seen that.

It must have ended up in a body of water. If so it may takeq a while to find it.
