Sounds like most companies.... Actually most companies would have just started layoffs instead

Several companies have done that already. Mine not included so far. Knock on wood.

Let us hope it comes back soon.

Pales in comparison to the 8% forced cut in the salaried workforce. Layoffs without calling them layoffs so they don’t have to offer packages or follow any rules.

My company ended 401k match in March. Sucks but no layoffs yet.

All oil companies are doing stuff, this is minor. At least most get to keep their jobs.

We furloughed a couple of my salaried sales guys and have since brought them back, but have not touched our 6% of compensation plus 3% over that.

So far we haven't had any layoff of company employees or cut of benefits. We have let some contractors go. But upper management is starting to get worried.

That sucks.

My company is laying some people off. I have survived so far (even got promoted), but my project is on hold from Covid. I’m worried.
