Why?

How different is it really going to look?

I know. You're one of the few I like. I take care of my golf board bros. Well, some of them.

Woah. Mine:

284,680 people would die from the fireball.
36,149 people would die from the shock wave.
73,821 people would die from the wind blast.
260,329 would receive 2nd degree burns
Clothes would catch on fire within 19 miles of the impact.
Trees would catch on fire within 42 miles of the impact (note this would include the Smokey Mountains).
Anyone within 6.1 miles would receive lung damage
Anyone within 8.1 miles would have ruptured eardrums
Buildings within 14 miles would collapse

It’s a pity there’s no option to reverse the way the website works and draw a circle around what you desire to see damaged and what it would take to achieve that. I tried for a long time to find the sweet spot to only impact North BR between Airline, Florida and I-110.

1/7th the world population KOA on impact, nuclear winters and mass die-offs of wildlife and man for decades after.

That could wipe humanity out

I did Tuscaloosa

New Orleans was too close to my house

Turns out .5 mile wide asteroid hitting Tuscaloosa was also too close to my house so I did Beijing next and 1 mile wide and max speed

How about a game? The largest asteroid you can hit the ground with kill the fewest number of people. But you can't send it into water.

Seems easy. Drop it on Antarctica.

I have seen a gigantic crater caused when an asteroid hit the earth. It is along the Romantic Road near Munich Germany.

The one in Arizona is pretty impressive to see in person also.
