Yeah, we have that too. However, I know for a fact that if any of our people were to be involved in an incident where testing was required, they would test positive and be fired.

I just give the old "I don't care what you do on your own time" talk.

In that case, what a waste of resources spending time and money testing.

Nope. Employers are lawsuit targets if an employee fricks someone up while high on the job. Testing will continue.

Lol... Pot is the most harmless drug and the only people who still hate it are the bible thumping ol timers who don't know any better.

On certain mornings, when my Mexicans begin work at 5 AM, especially Sat. or Sun., I find myself having to make them walk a line before beginning to operate any machinery.

I swear sometimes, these frickers come in and would blow a .25 and expect to hop on a $60K piece of machinery likes its nothing.

Well when you still have alcohol or drugs in your system on work time, you need to be fired.

You can have pot in your system long after use.

No problem with it if they aren't coming to work high.

I'm all for legality, but is this a serious question?

The infinite amount of ways employees can get hurt or hurt others, plus the liability that attaches to such actions, is reason enough.

I'd love to be a plaintiff's attorney when I come across a company that had no testing policy and an accident happened. Pay fricking day.

So if I smoke a joint on a Friday night and I don't have to be at work until Monday morning, I deserve to be fired? How am I endangering anyone?
