I guess they need to know who is going to be impacted by cardiomyopathy and blood clots in the coming months.

I’d say “Cool. Now do STDs. That’s probably a more useful list to post.”

Is this a HIPAA issue?
Unless the info was given out by the company doctor without your consent, it is not a HIPPA violation.

Any laws broken?
That will depend on jurisdiction but if you voluntarily gave your company that info and there was not any stipulation as to what they could do with it then it is unlikely any law was broken.

If done by email and once I lined up another job I’d “reply all”:
“I am sad seeing so many taking the clot shot, I wish all of you luck. This feels like what the Nazi’s did to the Jews and a sad day in our country. Since I’m a Pureblood if anyone had a need for blood look me up.
I also heard 60% of the C Suite has AIDS. Hopefully this company will release a similar list of employees having AIDS or other ailments for companywide distribution.”

Yes, it is against the law. Privacy has been compromised. Lawsuit for sure.

$25k a pop for HIPAA violations, I'd look into it.

I would ask for an employee list of virgin status.

If your employer sponsors your health insurance they are subject to HIPAA.

This is why you never declare status

Document every incident of harassment due to this. Report each incident. It will back them into a corner

That’s super pathetic on the companies part

I'd wear it like a badge of honor and look down on/make fun of those that were not on the list.

If you are unvaccinated and believe that is the right choice then your co-workers probably already know this about you.
If this somehow embarrasses you and you feel shame, then get vaccinated and that feeling may go away.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has made it clear that vaccination status is confidential medical information under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Additional state laws may also afford protections against disclosing vaccination status.
Correct answer, this is an EEOC violation as vaccination status should be treated as a medical record and stored separately from other personal information. Have fun if they did release your medical info.

I wouldn't care. I got vaccinated, but didn't get boosters and all that other bullshite. I'd tell them that I am verifying that my information is correct. I am not vaccinated.

Would consult an attorney - talk about walking upon one's right to privacy. Also, demand a roster be released identifying those who have a communicable malady

Sounds like your employer is creating a hostile workplace for the unvaccinated.

You need a lot more context with this post. What does this encompass?
HR has it?
Managers get it?
It’s posted in a newsletter?

Why do people think business have to go by HIPPA? It's pretty limited to healthcare providers. Most cases, has nothing to do with the company you work for.
If the company he works for has a medical department like most refineries and chem plants do then it is most definitely a HIPAA issue. The medical department is supposed to be the only ones that have your personal medical info and they are bound by HIPAA.
