You guys are clearly not familar with the crazy hypos that are part of law school exams.
Quite a few of us are, that doesn't make them ok. I knew a professor that used "black" and "brown" in his hypos. Clearly this was derogatory remarks about skin color. They let him do this for years.
It's time the university education model was cleaned up as it is a cesspool of "do as I say not as I do" and almost always one-sided in politics.

I'm the judge?
Life in prison for Lyle and Moby.
$1m in restitution for Quintana.
And candy for the 11 year old.

Other than the throwaway line about the suspected pedophile being a Republican politician, this is indeed a very typical issue spotter question.
If the word Republican was removed, this could probably be a question at just about any first year class anywhere.

This is not that unusual for a criminal law exam. It probably rated a few chuckles and that is about it.

Ask any 3L to go file something at the courthouse or redline a contract. I’d guess most can’t. And the few that can likely learned it from one of their summer internships at a local law firm rather than in the classroom.
This has been true since they got rid of apprenticeship tracks a long time ago. This isn't some dig about modern law schools or LSU specifically, as law school was never about teaching the practical practice of law.

I was thinking the same thing. Although, I never entertained going to law school, I immediately had flash back to a law class I had to in college where a General walked in on a newly married 2LT and his wife simultaneously performing oral sex on each other. Was this a crime?

My first CALI was from an exam centered around a Weenie Dog race and the contracts involved

Pursuant to the Rule of Perpetuities, Lyle and Moby are required to give 2/3 of their estate to the kids, pursuant to pedo forced heirship and perform 32 hours of community service.

And LSU Law wonders why I never give them a cent in alum donations.
I’ll one up you on this. I told them to take my name off their alumni mailing list. Had to call and give em an earful before they actually stopped.
Spaht you’re a c unt.
Ghallager you’re a communist pussy for taking Middleton’s name off the library and the only reason why people laughed at your jokes was to suck up to you. You’re not funny.
And secret grading? Ha that was a fricking lie. Had a friend that was close to a bunch of top ranked students. He said they didn’t study and didn’t know shite but still got top grades. All they did was be pets for the professors and do their research for publishing. Meanwhile the rest of us had to bust our arse to make our grades. He was pissed as well.
And blacks got a secret summer school to prepare themselves for freshman first semester. Whitey here didn’t have that. Then they tried to hide it. fricking racists.
I can give lots more reasons. I do not lump Mengis and a few others in this FYI.
The alumni relations told me a bunch of alumni feel the same way but now it’s a more fair and rewarding experience. I said that’s good but you still won’t get any money out of me.
frick you LSU Law School.

Can the LSU law professor make a hypo involving home insurance? Maybe Jeff will worry about home insurance then.

Oh this actually was the worst thing about LSU Law School. They failed out about 25% of the freshman class and they were proud of it.
You can’t be a dummy and be accepted. They failed out the bottom 25% not because they didn’t know the material. It was because they were bottom 25% of the curve. So if 75% got A’s and 25% got Bs. The Bs failed out. That’s BS. A lot of people’s desire and dreams to be a lawyer got crushed and it was horrible to see it happen. All because LSU wanted to say they were a tough school and showed as proof that they failed out 25%.
You’re tell me that year after year after year not ONE freshman class had 90% pass? 85%? frick no. Only 75%.

Professor is sketchy. People shielding him are sketchy.

Somebody waste an hour of their time and actually list all the crimes and defenses. Thank you.
