Most leftists I see are just enjoying the fire….it’s this site and other conservative sites that seem to be performatively fellating and LARP’ing their Musk fantasies.
Musk bought a shite business and is trying to demand the people he needs to keep the lights on to work harder and longer for a restructuring that is axing their colleagues for a vision that is not being articulated(if there even is one) …we’ll see how that goes for him.

What specific knowledge do you and other leftists have that all of us do not in regards to the plan and direction of Twitter now that it is not in your control?

In the end, the real programmers who have the chops and confidence are seeing this as a huge opportunity to climb that ladder. Every barrier that was ever in their way has been removed, and now is the time to make a statement. Yes, people are pissed, but in the end we each live our own lives and take the opportunities afforded us.

Never said I did, but neither do the employees or Musk apparently, and that’s a problem when you are giving ultimatums to in-demand engineers to sacrifice at your boss’s alter.
A pipe fitter or welder with far less job security wouldn’t put up with that shite, why do you imagine vet software engineers that can go across the street and make 175k would either?
