You ought to get a psych screening. Most paranoid people are unaware that they are mentally ill.

FYI I’ve had several psych screenings and never spent a night in any institutions. And I’m not saying anything is or isn’t a false flag. I’m just keeping an open mind until I’m sure one way or the other.

This is the same board that gets bent out of shape when someone makes a Katrina joke(rightfully so), yet Beto can't show concern for his hometown I guess because he has a D next to his name.

People just can't help themselves. Too many opportunists in this country.

False flag doesn’t mean it’s fake. Just that it’s not being perpetrated by who it appears.

Maybe so, but the typical "false flag" commenters are generally stupid or borderline-insane.

Are people seriously blaming trump for this?

The usual suspects will, but that's an everyday thing. Vast majority of people will not.

I think the numbers actually suggest that we're doing better now than ever with safety in this country. The mass shootings are tragic and stick out, but they're an incredibly rare occurance for any random American. I don’t think what I suggested amounts to a change in culture.

As technology has grown and allowed a generation to socialize only via cellphones and screens, it should also give way to a means of policing behavior in new ways.

Mass shooting #249 since January in the USA. Next country on the list has only has 3 this year...Mexico.

So

You are citing a CBS article based on
The Gun Violence Archive, a non-profit, who advocates seizing all guns, which says there have been 32,387 total shooting incidents so far in 2019 as of Wednesday, resulting in 8,533 deaths and 16,945 injuries.

Reuters

There were 14,603 murders from January to June, versus the 13,985 homicides registered in the first six months of 2018, according to data posted over the weekend on the website of Mexico’s national public security office.

Mexico is on course to surpass the 29,111 murders of last year, an all-time high.

You didn't, I was just piggybacking off of where that sometimes leads.

These events are horrific, but you have to still try to weigh civil liberties vs any potential lives saved. The whole mantra of if it saves just one life can be a slippery slope, even if I agree on the surface.

Mexico has very strict gun control laws to the point it's practically gun free. From Mexico straight down to South America, most of those countries have very strict gun regulations yet have some of the highest non war zone homicides in the world.
