Edwards: No phase 3 for you, Louisiana

The Democratic governor was considering moving Louisiana from Phase 2 to Phase 3 of reopening under the White House guidelines. But he decided against the move based on the latest surge in cases of the COVID-19 disease and hospitalizations over the last week.
The announcement comes after multiple COVID-19 clusters were reported in Southeast, Louisiana.
New Orleans reported two clusters stemming from a graduation party and a bar gathering.
The Louisiana Department of Health also said over 100 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed after an outbreak at bars in Tigerland in Baton Rouge.

I still can't believe they don't blame the protesting for this.... The one in Baton Rouge had 2,000+ people at it? But a graduation party and a bar is the problem?

I'm proud to have voted against John Bel Edwards not once but twice in 2015 and 2019.
Voted for David Vitter and Eddie Rispone over this charlatan that acts like a blue dog "conservative democrat" when it's convenient at election time.

Something something it was outdoors and for social justice so the virus is inactive during those conditions.
