My Ego push works great. Am able to cut the yard on a single charge. I don’t know if I’d bother spending the high price of the riding one though

What if my neighbor's mowers, trimmers, and blowers were virtually silent?

That's real progress.

Progress that is destined to be lost when your neighbor fires up his Dodge Charger at 11pm for the nightly burnout rally.

Would never get an electric mower but I have an EGO string trimmer and that thing is amazing.

I have a cordless battery powered drill I guess

Cordless tools were pretty shitty for a long time until brushless and Lithium batteries came out.

I don’t believe we’ll see the dramatic improvement in battery technology from this point on though.

Love my Ego weed eater, blower and edger.
If my yard was small, I’d get an ego push mower.
Absolutely would NOT get a $6000 battery powered riding mower.

I had a commercial echo weed eater and blower and had zero issues for 15 years. Someone not me put shitty ethanol gas with not enough oil in it and my blower and weed eater started over heating and shutting down. I lazily bought the EGOs and have never looked back.
That weed eater cuts just as good as that echo I had, if not better.

Because I wanted to wait to see what I really want for our hilly property we bought last summer, I bought a used Troy Bilt Pony for $500. I actually like it so I bought a bagger and am going to do a little maintenance on it. $5-6 of even ethanol-free gets me several tough acres and some joy rides w the boys. Granted it isn’t a zero turn but that isn’t of value for me anything due to hills.

If I had a small yard and needed a push mower to actually cut the grass, I would go gas for that. The 40v electric one I have just wouldn’t work for that.

My worx 40v works great on my small yard.

I don’t have their mower, but I have their hedge trimmer and blower. Both of them are great, and the ability to have an extra charged battery when using one comes in handy

it sure as shite wasn't me.
They lasted 15 years with no issues whatsoever, always starting on the 1st pull. ethanol gas gets put it in and it goes to shite, and i suspect it had more to do with the not enough oil, as that's what i attributed the overheating from. ANd that's why you don't lend people your yard equipment. I didn't care though, i had been looking for a reason to go buy the EGO equipment, and i'm very happy with that.

Same. And the weed eater/edger/pole saw combo works great too. I have a small yard and its perfect for my needs. Charge the batteries every 3-4 cuts.

I’ve got an Eco weed eater that’s fantastic. Good power plus just buy the precut string, feed it and push a button to load

That string load option is awesome on the EGO trimmer. The EGO blower is awesome, too.
