The Advocate

quote:

Arrested was Jeremy Andre-Letrell Blouin, 21, of 07322 Townsouth Ave., initially booked on a count of felony armed robbery.

The Sheriff's Office report gave this account:

Shortly before midnight, deputies responded to an armed robbery at a gas station on Essen Lane and Essen Park Avenue.

A man put a gun to a gas station customer’s neck inside the station's restroom, took money and fled southbound on foot on Essen Lane.

Deputies spotted a man matching the robber's description in the Piccadilly parking lot on Esson Lane and confronted him.

That confrontation resulted in a “physical fight with deputies” leading to a deputy firing his weapon and striking the suspect, who fled the area before being captured at 5770 Essen Lane. Upon his capture, the suspect possessed more than $400, as well as a lighter built to look like a pistol.

The suspect was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm and was booked upon his release.

There were no reports of deputies were injured in the incident.

Worthless thug piece of shite.

Thank you, deputies, for removing this sack of dogshit from our streets.

Wouldn't it be nice to have the parents of these piece of shits also booked for something. Even it's just something minor, have the parents be booked with some sort of negligence that makes them raise their kids to be better than this.

deputy needs some range time. double tap, head would've been a better outcome for all involved.

Tunnel vision usually forces your attention to the most immediate threat. In that split second, officer likely wasn't looking for his chest or his head but at the arm holding what looked like a gun. You end up shooting what you're looking at usually.
