I'm just pointing out that using "Democrats" in its place is equally as racist.
Black people voted 89% for the democratic party in the last presidential election. 93% in the previous election

I dont think its racist to assume black people in a voting line are democrats

Are exit polls not allowed at an election like this? You would think someone from st george would be out there even though its early voting

One group is known to vote for a political party at a 95%+ clip.

If you are to point this out, you are racist.
So he is using it assuming that he is the ONLY conservative there (not that this is an overly partisan issue anyway...) instead of the OT colloquial usage?

Got it...

I’m waiting for the news to break out of having 200 voters registered to vote using the same house as an address.

Exactly...

He is using Democrats as a negative synonym (or slur) for black people.

You do know that not everyone gets to vote on St. George? Just b/c you were in line with a bunch of "democrats", doesn't mean they were voting on it.

Would the early voting location being located in St. George not mean everyone voting there has it on the ballot?

Or is early voting all done at a central location?

Where? He explained that it meant people he traditionally associates with Democrats (Tattoos and hair colouration I believe) and literally stated that he didn't mean AAs.

Though I disagree with the OP's subtle dig, don't let it completely blind his point. St George needs votes - bigly. If you're on the fence but kinda want it to happen, your vote is definitely one that could have an influence.

I think this is going to be a razor thin margin. The OT is confident but when I voted, believe me - there's opposition who are extremely motivated and charged up here.

If you want St George to happen and you're in the area, you MUST vote for it.

the ballots are different according to where you are registered to vote. The early voting location doesn't matter

How can there be that many people voting though? Only 15000 signed the ballot and the Mayor specifically said that's the only people who can vote.

There is one early voting location in St. George, the State Archives building, but it's on the very edge of the proposed boundary. And one early voting location that's in BR, but also on the edge and is surrounded by St. George.

A few different locations.

You don’t even know me, but you “Democrats” say you know what’s best for me, and now you know what I meant to say.

What’s next you hack?

Psh. Like the news media here would ever run that story, especially if it could be assumed that they voted for the dems.

Nearly every good person / productive member of society (taxpayer, no criminal record, etc) is voting for St. George.

Nearly every non-contributor / person with a criminal record is voting against St. George or is aligned with remaining in your taxpayer pool to sponge off of you.

Which side do YOU want to be on? Which side do you want YOUR children to go to school with?

This is a big part of Baton Rouge's problem and one reason why the city will never live up to it's potential.

Too many people opposed to change, too many NIMBYs, etc.

I voted last Saturday (9/28) at the fire station on Coursey and the St. George incorporation was most certainly on the ballot.
