Dutchtown will always be known as the school where those guys tried to do their own Columbine in the early 2000s.

#11 in Louisiana probably would not even register on the list in better educating states.

I would wager that if you put all the Dutchtown students in Baton Rouge schools and all the Baton Rouge students in Dutchtown schools

This isn't fair. Half of the BR public school kids can't read.

Uhh those stats don't include private schools, boss. Dutchtown doesn't come close to the top private schools in the state.

Ascension will have another highly ranked school. It won’t be negative for either school, I would guess.

Um.... According to this list from last year, Dutchtown was ranked 19th in the state including private schools.

Did you not read the phrase, "We were also ranked in the top 7% of High Schools nationally!"?

The area that they're losing is Hwy 42 going towards Port Vincent. I expect the scores to increase.

Dude, you're the one who said they bitch slapped private schools. On a post that has nothing to do with private schools.

Not sure if this is the most recent year, but it’s around White (65.6%), African American (22.4%), Hispanic (6.6%).

The likely more important factor is it’s only 18% economically disadvantaged.

That’s nothing to brag about honestly….all it means is that they are the best of the worst.

I know that list is old bc there’s no such thing as Lusher Charter anymore.

It’s The Willow School now for the 2nd year

...and the part of the DTHS district that will be moving to Prarieville HS is a large portion of that economically disadvantaged student body. Prairieville HS district is mostly east of 190.
