Um.... According to this list from last year, Dutchtown was ranked 19th in the state including private schools.

That list definitely does not include private schools. It doesn't even include Haynes Academy, which is the highest scoring charter in the state.

Edit: magnet, not charter

Of schools that participated in their list. Baton Rouge High isn't listed for instance. Among others that would be top 20.

Dude, you're the one who said they bitch slapped private schools. On a post that has nothing to do with private schools.

Bitch slapped the dumbass parents that think sweet little Trixton won't be able to wear his penny loafers around town and be somebody unless he goes to Private School

If that list includes private schools, they're missing an awful lot of schools. I didn't see any Catholic schools on the list. Plus no Patrick Taylor, which is one of the top public schools in the state.

Dutchtown's rivals East Ascension & St. Amant....where do they rank?

https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/louisiana/rankings

Zachary #13
Holden #14
St. Amant #17
Live Oak #20
Central #29
Brusly #40
East Ascension #46
Denham Springs #66
Port Allen #70
Walker #75

I've been saying for years that Livingston Parish has been fudging the numbers.

I looked harder, and noticed those are scores from 2021.

Also that is just showing ACT composite scores for schools and not the SPS. Double fail right there.

And how exactly does this prove that? It is comparing public schools with other public schools. It says nothing about how it compares to local private schools. You must have gone to a LA public school.

The point here is that Dutchtown is one of the best public schools in the state and top 7% in the country. You can keep arguing which spot they should be in blah blah blah but it's consistently been a top school for a while despite having a huge student body

The list you posted is for ACT scores by Seniors, not overall school performance. The number of students listed for each school is how many Seniors are enrolled in the school.

Try and keep up sweetie. It shows that you don't have to send your kids to private schools to get a good education and be around good kids/families

The area that they're losing is Hwy 42 going towards Port Vincent. I expect the scores to increase

Try again!

PUBLIC school being the main issue here

You can try and be as condescending as you want. Your original post was very emotional and nothing in this thread is evidence that Dutchtown is as good of a school as the top private schools in the state. I do think it is a good school, I'm just explaining how ridiculous you first post was.

Because you didn't understand it. It was more of a response to Great Lakes in a previous thread where he said Public schools are trash which i am pointing out isn't the case in alot of suburbs.
