Dude driving through hoods in America

Pretty interesting youtube channel. He's driven through Baton Rouge, Shreveport and Nola. BR and Shitport didn't look too bad compared to the bigger cities. The worst looking hoods were Detroit and Oakland.

It's funny that all of those hoods in BR had relatively new cars in front of the houses.

Question I have is why are the suicide rates not at some crazy high level in those areas?
If my I was brought into the world living like that, I’d just assume be dead and I would off myself.

You would need to specify which parts of Prichard you would consider "hood". I grew up in Eight Mile, which is inside Prichard city limits, but it doesn't come close to Bull's Head, Happy Hills, or Alabama Village
