Guy a know lost his battle last night. Leaves behind a wife and lovely children.

He had battled addiction for a long time. In and out of rehab. Clean for months at a time, and then right back to a dark place.

Last night, I guess he pushed the line a little too far.

If you have kids, please teach them the danger of avoiding serious drugs that can cause a lifelong addiction.

If more parents didn't get all strung out over their kids smoking weed they probably would go down that road. But its just a theory

I don't think this is the lesson you want to teach your kids.

Or if more parents taught their kids how damn trashy weed is beforehand we wouldn't have to worry about them smoking weed or overdosing on fentanyl.

I wish they would just legalize weed so that all the trashy mf'ers could just smoke it and not make a big deal out of it....and it would be just like cigarettes....trashy but not something that is taboo. And we could tax it to the moon and back.

Addiction is the problem. Drugs are a tool.

That escalated quickly.

Weed is far superior to alcohol. It’s a great tool for gaining perspective and consciousness expansion. Alcohol just makes you a boring, drooling vegetable.

Lighten up. Load a bowl and step off your high horse, bubba.

Do you have any idea if it was pain pills? BR is having a huge problem right now with bootleg pain pills being sold as Roxycontin but they're actually Fentanyl. I personally know of 4 people that have overdosed on it and only 1 survived.

Sorry for your (and his family’s) loss.

It sucks how random addiction can be.

Wait till the Prog filth take over. We will be able to get meth and heroin at a legal dispensary!

Serious drugs? How about any drugs? I hope when the Democrats de-criminalize marijuana, we create millions and millions of new addicts. America chose this path. Let the pain commence. Only then will we see how far we have strayed.

More people need to hear this message. Lost my cousin and best man to alcohol and weed 4 years ago. He had it all and threw it away.

The thing about addicts (I am one, alcoholic), is that they/we don’t just ease back into drugs/drinking. You may have 2 weeks or you may have 2 years. Once you take that first drink, you’re back into it full force, like you never left. Addiction sucks. Just ask my wife.

I've got a permit application pending for a Meth & Heroin clinic in Monroe.
