Believe it or not, the American pharmaceutical industry has actually developed a pill to combat that.

Mu receptors are also in your intestines and the opiates activate them causing constipation.
There are similar mechanisms of action as Imodium AD, which is why those with opiate addictions (or going through withdrawal) sometimes abuse it, but have to take a really high amount to achieve the intended result (instead of just relieving diarrhea).

Don't overlook the insane power of what stress can do to the human body/psyche. By all means talk to a psychiatrist, but it sounds like you could really benefit from actively pursuing a vigilant stress management program.

“One way track marks” - Hellbound Glory

I’m sorry for your loss, man. There’s often no real closure on these tragedies for those left behind. We will be praying for you.

I've been dealing with a friend for years who is an addict. She comes from a great family, grew up great, was in college, and tried a pill at a party.. was hooked ever since. It's something that is not well taught to young adults that it really only takes one time. Needless to say, she called me about a month ago, thought it was the usual take me to rehab or detox, but she choose to go into a sober living home. She's doing great so far. I'm so happy for her. She knows the dangers if she were to leave and go use right away, she's very open with me. I've definitely learned a lot about addiction over these years.

Huh... must've missed that memo. Learn something new on the o-t every day.

You missed it because he is incorrect. Tramadol is an opioid not an opiate.

Weed is far superior to alcohol. It’s a great tool for gaining perspective and consciousness expansion
