Damn i didn't realize police departments now had their own explosive devices.... smoke or flash bangs or one thing but explosives used offensively is not something i have ever heard of police doing.

He did talk with them for a while and they obtained information from him before it went downhill. Suspect brought it on himself and could have potentially hurt more officers on scene. They were done with him at that point.
