I read in Denver the electric company was able to adjust thermostats upwards for people that have so called Smart thermostats.

The south is way too humid to regularly keep your thermostat at 85 for long periods. You are letting the humidity get too high for modern houses.

If we all go to prison for setting our thermostats lower than 85, most jails have air conditioning set lower than 85.

Yep…. at 85 the humidity in the house will rise… and then mold and mildew will form.

My thermostat will never see the mid 70s.

Stays in the upper 60s no matter what
