I like Googles AI (Gemini), though it doesn't do pictures.
Yeah I use Gemini for work because it's already embedded with my GWS. I can upload a bunch of pdfs and then have it make a table and export to sheets in my GDrive. Or have it do summaries in a style I like and upload that as a doc, etc.
NotebookLM is amazing and very new. Can't imagine where it will go from here. I need to do more research on how open/closed the system is, but I believe it's closed. If there are no privacy/ethical concerns, I could run massive medical records or business records through that thing and have it broken down in a few minutes.
I do personal research on Gemini and Chat GPT.

What adult still uses Google?

I like to compare the two.
The other day I asked about a specific person to the Knoxville area that my son's ball park is names after. ChatGPT was able to tell me all about him while Grok was not able to even find him as a person.
That was a first however.
ETA: I just asked Grok again and it was able to tell me all about Vance, so its learned in the last few days.

Interested in NotebookLM but for now it's too complicated for me to understand how it might be useful for my practice
I use Grok premium on the daily to do deep dive research summaries. Usually for side questions/background stuff that I'll more or less fact check in the scope of my work anyway and which doesn't involve any specifics/client info, of course. It's been great for that purpose.

ChatGPT just helped me get a date with a woman that rejected me 8 months ago. ChatGPT told me I made a power move by not validating her after I got rejected. I just said "cool" and moved on. I was mad at her all this time because I thought I did something creepy and she was avoiding me, but ChatGPT taught me she got insecure due to me acting like I didn't care if she rejected me.

AI is all programmed by blue haired trannies. It will always reflect their personal biases.

Both >>>>> Google
I was using GPT for a while, and I kept comparing it to Grok2 when that was available. GPT was better. Once Grok3 released then everything changed. Numerous searches between the two had Grok give more detailed and better answers. I have since removed GPT from my phone and use Grok for everything now. It's fantastic.

Well to be fair, Google stopped caring about the quality of their search engine years ago. It's mostly ads and paid results now.

Google has been complete dogshit for the last few years. They heavily censor results and now overweigh results for companies that pay them to do so. It's no better than what yahoo, excite, netscape, etc was back in the day.

This is interesting you bring this up. I've been a ChatGPT Plus subscriber for some time now, but recently it's been telling me a bunch of wrong shite. I'll get it to summarize things for me occasionally and normally, everything is fine. But not long ago, I read something that it had recently summarized and it was clearly wrong. When I confronted it about this, it said it was sorry but it actually used reviews and other pre-released info to generate the summary.
Then I found a few other instances where it did the same thing. Then it told me something else incorrect and I think I'm out on it.
Been messing with Grok and it seems to be on the right track. Today I actually killed my sub to ChatGPT and signed up for Gemini Advanced to see what it can do and so far so good.

You just highlighted an issue with every "AI" product out there right now, and I don't even know if you realize it or not.

It has been doing this from the beginning, even fabricating research and attributing it to real people.

A couple of weeks ago I watched Grok argue that a clearly fake video was real, evening attributing it have happened during a recent major event. When challenged, it doubled down. When presented with the two original videos used to fabricate the fake, it tripled down.

you can try chain-of-thought prompting to get the model to "explain" its reasoning, but if some of the training data or the tokens the model is relying on are bad (like fake news or misinformation) the output will be bad too...

I was actually coming to post this. ChatGPT can be resourceful but I would be very careful utilizing it for specific reliable information. I noticed this recently as I asked for certain evidenced-based practices on a topic. It provided information that seemed really good on its surface. When I began to check the sources, I couldn't find them. When I asked it for the doi numbers, it said that provided fake sources. It then provided me with "real" sources. When checked, they too were fake. This proceeded for several attempts and I eventually gave up on it. This is the second time it has done it to me. My advice is if you use it, at least try to verify it afterwards.
My main concern was how many medical providers have relied on it to give them up-to-date info, and took it at face value?

I used ChatGPT to fine tune the fuel injection on my Mustang last weekend. It was pretty cool.
