They make good wine. Their sparkling wine gets special praise.
The operation was built by the Kluge’s, but Patricia, Mrs. Kluge, was quite bad with money, and she ran up huge debts.
She asked Trump to save the operation from the creditors, which he did.
The Trump Organization is a real estate company, first and foremost, which is probably why they bought the winery. The land is very valuable.
The wine is good though. And they have a lot of acreage.
Other wineries in the area end up buying grapes from them.

He lives where? What two states are nearest to 1600 Pennysylvania Avenue? Maryland and Virginia of course.
So take a guess was to where run of the mill White House wine be ordered from? And take a guess what brand the White House Chef would be strongly advised to feature at receptions, etc.
I wonder how much wine was sold in 2021? Somehow the chart stops.
And of course, the winery itself is located in Virginia, so it's not surprising they do well there. Not that many well known Virginia wine's out there.

I can't blame Trump for making an alternative platform to get his voice out when the mainstream platforms are censoring him unfairly, and I'm happy to see it get a broad reach, but I honestly don't want a "right-wing Twitter" any more than I want a left-wing Twitter.
