May God heal her and watch over her. She is a remarkable country music artist. Her amusement park brings joy to thousands of kids every day.

Prayers sent, national treasure. Never heard a bad thing said about Dolly Parton and have several relatives in the industry

Hate to hear it, but the fact is she's pushing 80 years old and Father Time is undefeated.
I remember her as a very young woman on the old "Porter Wagoner Show" where she got her start in being in the public eye on a grand scale. I've been a fan ever since.

When the fires came through Pigeon Forge, she didn't wait on Uncle Sam and FEMA. She made sure those families had income to survive.
Parton provided significant aid to the victims of the 2016 Great Smoky Mountains wildfires through her My People Fund, which gave $1,000 per month for six months to each family displaced by the fire. She also donated $10,000 to nearly 900 families, plus an additional $5,000 to some at the final distribution. In total, she contributed to the fund, and the Dollywood Foundation raised over $9 million to help the ~900 families who lost their homes.
Hoping and praying God keeps her here awhile longer. She's truly a blessing to this country.

I bet that lower back is suffering!
ETA- Seriously, she really impressed me when an interviewer was trying his hardest to pry a political opinion out of her and she adamantly refused! She explained that it's not an entertainers place to spread their personal beliefs. She has more balls than a typical blue haired "male" these days. She would not back down no matter how much he tried.

My sister and I have tickets to her opening night show in Vegas. Ticketmaster emailed us and said she’s rescheduling for Sept. 2026. I told my sister that I wasn’t sure she’d pull through whatever it is that she’s dealing with. So sad. She’s an icon for sure.
Similarly we had tickets for Jimmy Buffett’s show scheduled for May of 2023, but it got postponed for health reasons, never to be rescheduled. Would’ve been the last show he ever played. Hopefully not a similar situation for Dolly.

This sucks.
Also, when's the last time someone made it through a full page on the OT without a single negative thing said?

And that's the least of her impact to children. Her Imagination Library has donated close to 300 millions books to kids age 5 and under across the world.

Damn. Dolly and Kenny Rogers were a staple of my childhood.
I don't even like country music, but I will listen to them.
It doesn't get much better than Islands in the Stream
