Yeah this is my MO.

ANd I wouldn't have problem with someone doing the same in my trash can.

What is dog urine etiquette? Is everyone cool with random dogs pissing in their yard?
I keep my dog on the grass between the street and the sidewalk. Do not let him poop or piss in a neighbors yard.

Exactly! but were supposed to be ok with it bc what else is their little fluffy boy supposed to do??

I've gotten so tired of dealing with other peoples dogs, and them acting like I should be totally ok with it

I follow a simple rule - I bring it home. But, if there is a can with the lid open that I can drop it into in a way that I know it won’t fall to the bottom and get left behind, I do it. I don’t open cans. Saw a bitch drop her pop bag into an empty can once and I found that to be very rude.

How anyone can think they can put feces into someone else anything is mind boggling.

Houseguests who take stinky dumps in my toilet are infinitely worse than dog owners throwing poop bags in my garbage can.

please don’t do that in Alexandria

They only pick up bagged trash. That little bag of shite ends up in the bottom of the can, Breaking out of that little baggy. Now I got shite in the bottom of my can

Just let it shite in my yard, or better yet, don’t get a fig that can’t get its shitting done in your own yard prior to the walk.

Yes I’m dropping the shite bag into the first trash can I see. It’s a trash can.

I never really thought about it before, but I'm sitting in my front room and I saw my neighbor stop in front of my house to let his dog piss in my yard. I almost said something, but I have no idea if that is reasonable

I don't know if it's reasonable or not, but I also never cared. It's not a problem at our current properties, but when we lived in a neighborhood, I talked to a few of my neighbors about keeping their kids and dogs out of my yard.

Why do I care if someone throws it in my garbage can? I am just glad they are picking it up.

If the garbage has been emptied, then that bag of poop is going to go splat at the bottom of the garbage can, and get stuck in the residual goo at the bottom of the can.

The poop is going to ferment in the bag stuck to the bottom of the can until you notice and figure out a way to fish the poop bag out a few weeks later.

Full trash can prior to pickup in a few hours =
No problem

Empty trash can = Not neighborly at all

Grass, dogs and kids have coexisted for centuries without any cross-contamination. Kids do a million more disgusting things daily than rolling in grass that got peed on last week

It’s hardly enough liquid to dampen the grass beyond a matter of minutes

You seem very high strung. You should get a dog

I wouldn't care. Toss it in my can. Better than leaving dog poop.

What is worse than what the OP posed, is the idiot who actually picks up their dog poop and then leaves the filled bag on the sidewalk or the street. And no, I am not kidding. Complete dumbasses who think they should pick up after their dog but somehow think the bag of poop will miraculously take care of itself afterwards.

Yes, these people and those who don’t return shopping carts are the lowest of the low. Entitled pieces of shite.

Leave other people's property alone

If we're getting technical, most roadside/driveway trash cans belong to the city/municipality, not the homeowner.

Never seen it but it has to be huge

I have a 17 month old human.... I don't think another living thing to look after is my solution.

I never used to give a frick but the dog owners in my neighborhood are on another level. Always letting dogs roam off leash, letting them run around when they get the mail then being so shocked when they run down the street and get into everyone shite, leaving them out back all day and night to bark incessantly, and I was the one who posted about a looney tune who walked her happy arse into my backyard and refused to leave when I told her to frick off cause she was looking for her dog.

TLDR: I live amoungst assholes and now hate dogs

If the can is full and tomorrow is trash day, I think it's ok. Empty can? Hell no. Can't put shite in someone's can that will be there all week.

I feel the same way about my own cans.

If you have a dog, you walk around with a bag of poop. It's what you do.
