There were two guys that let their dogs run the block at night to shite on other people's lawns.. I fixed one of them when I threw his dog's shite on his roof.. The other one doesn't let the dog out anymore..
It must have been one the dogs, at least I hope, that took a huge dump on my lawn. That turd was about 8 inches long and 2 inches wide.. I loudly complained about it and it was gone in a couple of hours..

If tomorrow is trash day and the can is by the road, I'll drop the bag in while I walk the dog. Any other time I hold onto it until I get home and use my own trash can.

Obviously that’s the scenario being discussed by OP. No one would walk up their driveway and throw it away in their trash can that’s under the carport.

Well there could be an empty can on the road that's been picked up but owner hasn't brought it back to the house yet.

Mine will be there from 730AM pickup until 630 pm when I get home from work sometimes.

This is a fair opinion to have. I disagree but I understand that some people don't like their neighbors.

This, on the other hand, is a bit ridiculous. Should people also not let their infant cry in public places? What about stopping the rain from falling on your property?

Because your garbage can will smell like shite.

If it's tied and the garbage comes the next day or that day, you will never know it was in there.

Leave it in there a week, especially in Summer, yeah, it could stink. That's why you don't put in someone's empty can.

Waste Management empties our cans by reaching in and pulling individual garbage bags out - but they’re not reaching down to the bottom to pick out loose items or those tiny poop bags. So those sit in there and bake. Smell is awful.

If you have a dog, pick it up & put it in your own can

If I lived somewhere in the sticks that did this, obviously a different story. We have the trucks that violently shake the cans upside down and nothing get's left behind.

They only pick up bagged trash.

I have a HUGE issue with this. We have a new trash service in my parish and they now say they will only take trash that is in THEIR can and the lid is fully closed...

frick THAT NOISE. You as a trash collection service that won the parish's contract are providing a SERVICE to me and the rest of the tax payers in the parish. If I have trash, you pick it the frick up and put it in your god damn trash truck. IDGAF if its in their can, my own can, or in a bag. If its at the curb take it to the goddamn dump.

Third option (that people in my neighborhood do) is to toss the bag of poop onto someone yard debris pile (leaves grass etc).

I think I wouldnt be opposed to that but I would not want someone putting it in my garbage can.

You'd rather them just leave a bag of shite out in the open in your yard than put it in a trash can?

Thats psycho behavior.

Also, my neighborhood recently put in small, green, pet waste containers every few blocks tucked away behind landscaping. We pay some service to empty them. They've been great. We have a very hands-off and affordable HOA, but they do things like this maybe once a year as their big project (and they enforce mowing/edging if egregious).

So this is a problem of the past for us.

yea...Imma keep on hating both. and dog owners in my experience are uncorrectable by the simple fact that they seem unable to comprehend that the rest of the world does not want to deal with the animal they chose to own.

If ours enforced this I'd rarely be able to put trash on the street

Our cup runneth over with our house full of kids. 2 cans too.

I’ll always pick up my dogs poop. I usually just carry it home, if they poop on the corner. I’ll pick it up and set the bag on the side and then pick it up on the way home.
Rule is always pick up your dogs mess.
If someone wants to put their dog poop (bagged) in my garbage I could care less.
It’s a garbage can!!!!

Would you be okay with me pissing on your mailbox? If not, then I don't want your dog pissing on mine.
