It worked for the Bolsheviks in Russia, but it did not work for the Tianamen Square protestors.

And fix your thread title for subject/verb agreement.

Maybe 50-60 years ago? But today they are usually manufactured for varies reasons, rarely is that reason for the actual cause they are rallying for.

Yesterday the crazy libs were outside the Tesla dealership here boycotting Elon and Trump.

I don't think they accomplished anything as the Tesla dealership seemed just as busy as normal.

Its amazing how people allow politics dictate their life. This goes for both sides. But there are people from the right who are now more tolerable of electric vehicles and there are people on the left who are going nuts, getting rid of their Teslas, etc because of Elon's current role within the government.

But to go protest at a dealership is stupid. That could actually backfire. People see all of those assholes protesting so they decide to go buy a Tesla just because.

It changes nothing.

Sometimes. The TN protests in the early 2000s against a state income tax were very effective.

Tea party stuff around 2010 worked if you were an IRS employee.

Most protests you see are organized and funded by individuals that use the useful idiots protesting for more power and financial gain.

Are you telling me that standing on a busy street waving a sign someone just handed you is not a productive use of time?

C'mon guys, let's all try to get the attention of the people stuck in traffic who aren't staring at their phones!!

I only wish it wasn't so early, but you have to do it at lunchtime to pretend that the protestors have other jobs.

Sometimes college protests work. Bc the colleges are run by leftists who are happy to oblige. Like recently two students were supposed to be expelled from Barnard College for assault, stemming from their hatred of Jews. Students protested their expulsion and the spineless administrators reversed.

I would say in general they are pretty effective against politicians that are scared of getting voted out
