Or made something up and we know he NEVER makes things up.

Did you know that Biden now appointed Powell in 2017, not Trump?

How stupid do you have to be to think 65g of sugar isn’t bad for you because of what kind of sugar it is?

Stupid enough to fall for this "distraction" from Trump protecting pedophiles

They have, several times. It wouldn't make any taste difference going from HFCS to table sugar with the rest of the formulation unchanged.

Back in the 70’s I worked at the Supreme Sugar Refinery near Labadieville.

The loading dock had ten to twenty rail cars a day being filled with granulated sugar. All of the bottlers were using sugar. The refinery closed when they switched to high fructose corn syrup.

RC Cola and a moon pie would have been the sponsored daytime snack at my grandparents' house growing up.

pure sugar in their products

Coke has basically said they ain't changing

quote:

Initially, the drinks giant responded with a neutral statement of appreciation for “President Trump’s enthusiasm” for Coke, and a vague message about “new innovative offerings within our Coca-Cola product range” to come.

On Thursday, however, the soft drinks company released an additional statement making positive claims about high-fructose corn syrup, a product that some blame for soaring US obesity rates and which has become a target of health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr’s “Make America healthy again” movement.

“The name sounds complex, but high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) – which we use to sweeten some of our beverages – is actually just a sweetener made from corn,” Coca-Cola said in a statement. “It’s safe; it has about the same number of calories per serving as table sugar and is metabolized in a similar way by your body.”

Doesn't matter to me. There is a pile of sugar in soft drinks.

The normalization of drinking a 12oz liquid that has a 1/4cup of sugar in it has been deeply ingrained into american culture.

I think we're breaking out of it but people 40+ still thinks its no big deal.

They could go back to the original version (without the cocaine). I doubt the cokes in the 50's had HFCS.

The could call it Original Coke Classic.

And his uncle John taught the unibomber at MIT even though the unibomber never went to MIT and trumps uncle died 11 years before we ever heard of the unibomber. If trump’s lips are moving he’s either snoring or lying…..haha

The caramel coloring was deemed possibly carcinogenic by the frickjobs in California, so all the soda makers had to change their formulas a little. ALL of them.
This happened maybe 10 or more years ago, maybe? It DID result in a slightly weaker Coke, less sweeter, but it was changed, none the less. They won’t go back to that. I am not sure of the coercion used, but this was a big thing.

The beverage companies follow the money, irregardless of who had the idea first…except Pepsi used cane sugar more broadly than Coke through the years.

But the whole point of “New Coke” was to make a weaker flavored Coke that would appeal to the yanks. Coke is not as big up nawth as it is down South, where it was created.

What`s crazy is there are people in this thread talking smack about all the sugar in sodas but are probably the same people drinking half a gallon of sweet tea a day.

Correct. It doesn't taste different AND "real sugar" is a highly processed "food" to begin with.

One of the many factors causing the obesity epidemic. You are talking over 50,000 excess calories per year if you drink a 12oz Coke daily (and Coke has less calories than all the other regular soft drink products like Sprite)

You telling me the Mexican coke with cane sugar doesn't taste any different than regular coke? Cause it does.
