I grew up with dogs, but I don’t see the allure in owning one. The vast majority of the time they just seem like a nuisance.

Buy an electronic dog whistle that’s noise activated. Just got one for my house and my dogs stopped barking at everything with the quickness.

Cats are the way to go man. They’re quiet and can fend for themselves.

. It barks constantly and it is UBER aggressive whenever my neighbor goes outside to take it for a walk. Like it legit looks like it wants to tear off my family’s face. We have a four year old son and if that bitch ever comes anywhere near him I’m gonna gouge its eyes out and choke it to death.

Speaking from personal experience from a similar situation I was in a number of years ago - be aware of your surroundings when you're outside and your neighbor's dog is in the vicinity....

I gave my neighbor the benefit of the doubt in regards to their aggressive dog - which ended up being a huge mistake on my part. I still have my daughter, which I'm thankful for, but I wouldn't wish what she went through on my worst enemy

I’m one of the few honkeys who just don’t understand pet ownership. I never want to be so psychologically needy that I need emotional support from an animal.

I had cuddly stuffed animals as a child. But I grew up. It’s time to be on Team Human.

When I see grocery shoppers dropping heavy bags of dog food for checkout, I can’t help but think of how much shite that bag is going to produce - shite they’ll have to pick up. If they don’t pick it up, it’s just shite that’s going to stink up their yard or neighbor’s yards like the surroundings have been infested by homeless people.

The worst among them take their fur babies to restaurants where you get to see these animals lick their assholes while you dine.

Some of you reveal your city slicker upbringing without even realizing it.

I mean, you do realize there are plenty of breeds, and individual dogs, that do alot more than just eat food, shite, and provide "emotional support", right?

Hell, there are many dogs that the owner probably wouldn't even call a "pet". It's a working dog. Hell, my BIL has 2 Australian shepherds that are smarter than the average OT poster...and work harder, too.

I had french bulldogs. Theyre ugly, loud breathing, bark at everything nuisances. I got them for free but why anyone would pay any amount of money for them is beyond me. To pay 5k for one is going full retard.

That isn't the dog's fault, that is the neighbor's fault.

Yeah, all that unconditional love they give people is a real downer.

They instantly go insane and start throwing themselves at the fence and barking like I robbed their place.

It might help to stop and let them look at you, sniff you, say some kind words - maybe they'll begin seeing you as the ambivalent figure that walks by sometimes, and ignore you. Hell, buy some treats and toss them over once or twice. You might see an entirely different reaction. French bulldogs are sweet dogs but they are not too bright, and might just be reacting through instinct. A small effort to condition them to see you as something good may go a long way.

It got so bad that I now just get a water bottle, mix in some cajun seasoning, and poke holes in the top and spray them down just so I don't have to walk 3 inches next to 5 dogs going balistic.

You have a couple seconds to walk by some barking dogs. Stop being a bitch.

Buy 3-4 battery operated toys that will keep them enraged 24/7. Everyday switch one out. The owners will sooner or later get tired of it. Try to find out when they sleep, thats the best time.

Have you never had cats fricking outside your window? You would wish they were dogs barking instead.

Only thing more aggravating than dogs is people that expect everyone else to like dogs. They are usually just as needy as the damn dog.

If you’re referring to me, I grew up in the country.

We lived in a horse pasture with a cow pasture in our back yard. There was probably only a dozen other homes in a half mile radius.

Neighbors had guard dogs to scare away Democrats.

I only moved to the city because that’s where my first job out of college was located.

Got anymore psychoanalysis wisdom you’re terrible at but use as a crutch to kid yourself about many of the world’s truths you don’t like?
