I will eat them if I am in a bind, but does anyone actually seek them out?

First time I open the bag, I grab the end piece and throw it to the turtles and fish in my pond

Bad move. it gives insulation to the rest of the bag. Now you made the next piece in line go stale faster.

It’s science.

I leave that fricker in there as part of a perhaps misguided philosophy it will keep the next piece of bread less stale

I like the ends on some sandwiches like a peanut butter sandwich.

It is the best on a hot loaf of home-baked bread, but is undesirable in store bought bread.

Save the booty bread until loaf is gone. Then throw them away.

The end pieces are the best when putting red beans and rice on the bread

On home made loafs yes. Store bought, not so much but in a bind I will turn them inside out and use them.

As a kid, I couldn’t stand them. As an adult, I love them!

I use them to make my kids grilled cheese - put the ends on the inside and they have no idea.

You talking about the heel? They’re good to sop up some of that extra gravy baw. I also like them toasted with spaghetti

I really like the ends of a baguette before they get stale
