If it has salt .. yeah my dad introduced me to it.. yes I eat canned baby mussels.. in oil .. I have made stuff like pan fried patties with canned salmon . Ok but not interested in doing it again.. canned oysters are ok again in oil..
I love canned octopus in oil and its ink..
Sardines are ok.. whitefish not so much

But tbh.. pretty much oil and salt.. you could probably put rubber bands in there and I would try it.

Salmon patties, kippered herring, smoked oysters, mackerel, sardines in mustard or hot sauce, smoked eel, a little pile of sauerkraut, crackers, and cream cheese with scallions, oh hell yeah.

Hell no. I used to eat the shite out of those fat Vienna sausages every time I’d go to my granny’s. Now I’m older and I don’t know what you’d have to pay me to take a bite of that shite.

The hipsters call it "tinned fish" and there are the usual reddit subs and YouTube channels going on and on about it.

Tinned fish is the new craft beer.

A guy I work with eats sardines out of a can. They're "Hot and Spicy" flavor. Smells like hot and spicy death.

Grew up eating this in an Asian household. Sautéed sliced onions, some sugar, spices and extra fish sauce cooked until fragrant served with some fluffy jasmine rice and cucumber slices.

Canned salmon

We fried those up and had them Christmas Day

Not my first choice but it really wasn’t bad at all

Some mashed potatoes and black eyed peas too.

The only canned fish I can stomach is Tuna, Anchovies for special dishes and used sparingly and the occasional smoked oysters in a can.

Never liked sardines much or salmon in a can and haven't eaten them in decades.

Edit: Not talking regular Tuna.

I eat canned sardines all the time, does that count? BTW, I prefer skinless and boneless varieties. My favorite being King Oscar’s Spanish Style.

Canned Tuna and Salmon makes a damn fine cheap meal

I'll eat a tin of sardines also if I'm on a health kick at the time

My dad was really fond of sardines with saltine crackers. I would nibble a little of it with him sometimes but it wasn't my favorite
