I always chuckled at companies that give retiring employees a gold watch. When I retired, on my list of things I enjoy most is not being dependent on the time of day for things that needed to be started or completed.

I wear the same watch every day.

Yes, usually a Seiko solar or 5 Sport. Same with having a good pocket knife clipped in and now also a Microstream USB next to it.

I have a clock on my phone

Nope. Don't even own one anymore I don't think.

I assume I did it because of always having the time of day on my phone. I don’t even think to throw the ole’ Tag on for formal events anymore. I kinda feel like a Neanderthal. Maybe I’ll start back. Surely I’m not the only one who has inadvertently given up on the wrist watch.

I have a pretty plain Seiko Chrono that I wear when I need to dress up. It isn't expensive but looks pretty good. I wear a Garmin Instinct daily.

I judge people who wear electrical watches. (Not so much quartz ones, the more advanced kind you see more and more of.)

I'm 50 and I've never consistently worn one. I have gone through phases but never consistently. I doubt I've had one on at all in the last 10 years.

This. My grandfather used to tell me as a kid that a gentleman should always wear a nice watch, and that just stuck with me.

Pretty much the only time i take my watch off is to shower. Other than that, i even wear it when i sleep. I like to be able to easily check the time if i wake up at night versus have to feel for my phone

Was thinking about a daily wear watch, earlier. I do have a Garmin that I wear during exercise to track my stats, but only wear it when in use.

Same- I wear an apple watch or my Seiko SKX. The SKX is well respected in the watch community and was a very affordable ISO certified dive watch. Seiko stopped making them a couple of years ago.

Every day. I feel weird without one.

99+% of the time.
But I'm pretty sophisticated.
