I never heard that expression in kickball,
but I did hear my wife say "no more redhots" one time after I had tried some of that KY warning jelly.

We did have that rule, but I don’t recalling calling it that. Then again, I can’t recall how we said it, so maybe I’m just hazy after several decades

Since kids don’t even seem to play outside anymore I wonder if they even know what “no red hots” means?
Edit: I’m very surprised yall don’t know. “Red Hots” was when you could throw the ball at the baserunner in a game like kickball or cabbage ball and if you hit them between bases they were out. Or in wall ball throwing the ball super hard at someone.
