Do You Think Felons Should Be Able To Legally Have Firearms?

There was just a segment on 60 mins on the red flag laws in Colorado.
For those who don't know exactly what the red flag law is, it is a gun control law that allows police or family members to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms from someone who is a danger to other people or themselves.
This becomes a law in Colorado on January 1st, but about half of the counties refuse to acknowledge the law.
If someone is acting irrational and there is concern because that person does have firearms in their home, I don't have a problem at all if law enforcement wants to temporarily take away their guns. Sure there are other weapons they can use, but having a gun makes it a lot easier for them if they want to do some crazy shite.
But if you are against the red flag law then would you support felons being able to buy firearms? If someone goes to jail for lying to the feds and they are a felon. When they get out of jail... there is no sign of them being a danger to themselves or others, if they have a firearm',.. So why is that never mentioned when talking about whether or not to enforce "red flag" laws?

frick that slippery slope
I’ve acted irrational before, because I was pissed off about something, should I have my guns taken from my home at that point?

There's a wide range of felonies
If it's something to do with violence no.
If it's something to do with violence no.

I did yesterday, been paying for it all day. Rightfully so though. girlfriend's sister is an annoying, rude hipster who embraces the portland liberal lifestyle.
We dont get along well.

I don’t care who has guns. I as a law abiding citizen do not want my right to protect myself trampled upon because some bleeding heart liberal with delicate sensibilities thinks guns are evil.
ETA: and eat shite wheels.
Any gun law whether it’s the NFA or whatever else is a gross infringement on the 2A.
There should at any given point in time be multiple court cases fighting all of those laws.

Yes, I’m opposed to red flag laws. Yes, felons released from prison and finished with probation should be allowed to own guns. If they can be trusted to live in society again, their rights should be restored.

I think they should take guns from the gun rich and give them to the gun poor. The unfortunates deserve to be able to shoot folks too.

Way too many laws are felonies. If it's not a violent crime then absolutely. A mistake in your past should never hinder a person's God given right of self defense.

Felony weed posession? or Felony armed robbery with a handgun..
For example. You have to consider which felony it is.
For me, if it's anything related to the latter, then frick no.

just make it a law EVERYONE must carry,, after a few months of intense violence and slaughter all the crazies will be dead or in jail
then we pass a law, women have the constitutional obligation to go topless
then after a few months of being grossed out and/or aroused
well,, that doesnt have to stop
