That is their nature, to their “herd” they are the most loving, gentle, and nurturing breed I have ever owned. Threaten that herd…gtf out of the way because they turn into a force of nature that will fight to the death to protect the herd.

With three six foot windows in the bedroom, what's the use of locking the door?

So your kids don't walk in while you're balls deep in their mom.

I don’t even lock my apartment door and I live right off I-10 in West Houston. Rarely look my door unless I’m leaving for an extended time. It’s probably stupid,!but these apartments have a great surveillance system and people don’t even steal Amazon packages here. At least, I only read on our community forum about people seeking out the correct address of packages left. Never people claiming stolen packages.

I'm 70. The only thing my balls hang deep in is the toilet when I do my business.

Friend of mine bought a house with deadbolt locks on the outside of all the bedrooms.

Oh wow, that's creepy. Probably enough to keep me from buying.

I wonder if there was a lingering smell of bleach in that house.

No way, especially at my grandparents. They bought an old slave cottage back in the 50’s. My grandpa is 95 and still lives there today. It’s def haunted af. We’ve seen and heard weird shite at night there.

To the OP we only look any doors when we are out of town overnight. I have told my wife when I feel like I need to lock a door then we will move.

If you think things don’t happen because you live in a nice area…

Sometimes, yes. I’d rather not have to explain to my son that a wheelbarrow has 2 meanings.

We shut it when we go to bed but don't lock it. We have one kid still at home but she's 15 so not worried about her walking in unannounced.

We leave it half open b/c of our 7 year old in his bedroom, sometimes he walks in in the middle of the night.

No concerns about intruders, we have a good alarm system and it gives me peace of mind.

You have been watching too many episodes of Forensic Files.
