No, I do all the driving on trips. She's usually sleeping ten minutes into any long road trip.

I don't like driving. I prefer to be driven.

Mine gets car sick when not driving, she drives a majority of the time while I sleep. I can’t watch her drive, she can’t hold a god damn speed or keep right. Pisses me off. Oh then she can’t follow the simple directions of the god damn gps and gets mad at me for not helping her, so it’s best I sleep.

Nope. The brake pedal on the passenger side doesn’t work no matter how hard I push it.

Absolutely not. I will cannonball 18 hours myself before I let her drive us

No, but I’m a control freak. My wife is super passive so it works beautifully.

Let her? I’m not her father. If she wants to drive, she can drive. She usually doesn’t want to though so I drive 90% of the time on trips.

She drives because her vehicle is nicer. She doesn’t like my truck to travel and the car seat is easier in her car. Needless to say I don’t put miles on my vehicle hardly ever anymore

I never let my wife drive if I’m in the car. I value our lives too much. Pretty simple.

I actually enjoy driving so 99% of the time if we’re going somewhere I’m driving, she drives just fine but I always end up doing it. About the only exceptions are when she might come pick me up and she’s already driving or long trips, and even that is usually to just let me nap for a bit and take over again. We drove Key West to Lafayette in one day last year, that’s about 18 hours on the road, of that she only drove an hour while I took a refresher nap then I finished off the drive.

My wife drives 90% of the time if we are going somewhere. She gets sick if I drive, so whatever.

My wife hates, like really hates to drive, especially on the interstate. . So not an issue.
I drove the whole way from California to Louisiana. I love to drive so I didn't mind.

Same, but I just like driving.

Last long trip we made we left early in the mooring and she drove for a couple hours after I drove 8. On the way home we didn’t leave as early and I drove all the way home.

We did Key West back to the northshore a few years ago nonstop. I got so tired around Pensacola area I had to let her take over. But then I was so anxious I couldn’t fall asleep. So before we got to the Mobile tunnel I made her switch back to me driving!

Nope. Even when I’m to the point of delirium I’ll keep pushing. Tried to let Mrs jkyle take the wheel in some of our early on trips and it was torture. I’m also the worlds worst backseat driver.

Hell yeah. My wife is a very good driver.

Once in Amish country in Pennsylvania, she was driving us on a two lane highway and traffic came almost to a stop, she yells, “Oh shite!” and stomps the gas and turns right and pulls onto the shoulder and around the stopped traffic. I looked back as she’s doing this and I see a 3/4 ton pickup pulling a trailer skidding and the trailer almost jackknifing behind him slam into the car we were just behind. She saved us from a pretty bad rear end accident by watching her six.

She gained my trust in her driving after that.
