The ones i know are pretty chill and don’t try to force any kind of ideology on people. Their main goal is to “pass”, meaning have nobody even know they are trans.

If you go by what you see online, all of them are out to get your kids. As with any group, the ones you actually meet aren’t like that. The internet and news show the worst of the worst. Of any group.

Nope.

I did order at a Wendy's here in Oklahoma and there was a tranny at the drive thru window.

Me nor any of my family will ever go back there. I can decide to spend money elsewhere.

When I worked at Boeing in Charleston, one transfered on from Seattle. They had to build special bathrooms for IT. Ended up building 1 on every building l, a total of 4 at the time.

A manager for facilities told me it was a total of 700k.

How old are these trans people? Regarding the upcoming crop of people who are using it as a fad (with tragic effects), this is unadulterated bullshite. I know a couple of old school trans people who were actually trans, many of these people are not, including my family member.

That's because many of them are, and as we've now seen multiple times, if your religion won't let them, they'll just walk in and slaughter them. Stop with this gaslighting bullshite. One in four American high school students identify as LGBTQ. It's a social contagion that has very much been pushed onto the most impressionable animal that walks the planet: children.

You're either being disingenuous, getting actual trans people confused with the crowd followers, or lying: The new trans people are cult members. We had another one slaughter more children yesterday.

His name here could then be “BallsOff4Harambe”.

so what happens if a transexual is hired at your place of work?

Avoid as much as possible while still being professional and courteous like I am with all human beings? What kind of question is this? I can disagree with someone’s lifestyle and choices while still maintaining decorum.

I’ll just never be associated with them and will never speak about anything other than work. Yknow like a professional would.

To give a sincere answer: Yes, I've known at least two fairly well. Neither of them are people who would immediately stand out in a crowd, and both were intelligent and fairly easy to get along with. Aside from the issue at hand, they're just normal people.

I think a lot of people's ideas of transsexuals are shaped by drag queens (who are typically gay but not transsexual), and the ones who go on the internet seeking to draw attention to themselves and shock/outrage people.

Like most people, I find the concept of an internal gender identity hard to understand. All I can do is take people at their word that some transsexual people endure true mental suffering because of gender dysphoria. I guess it's similar to the experiences of some gay people I've known who, at one point in their lives, were deeply unhappy with their sexual orientation and have done just about anything to become heterosexual. I'm not a psychologist, but gender transition seems to help many of these people and the percentage of those who regret the procedure is reported to be very low.

Some people think that all transsexuals are severely mentally ill in other ways, and are predatory or out to convince people who are not transsexual to change their gender. That hasn't been the case in my experience. I do think that transsexuals as a population are more likely to have other mental illnesses than the average person. I don't know if this is due to life experiences, a common biological root cause of both gender dysphoria and the additional mental illness, or just because any mentally ill person is far more likely to have a second mental disorder than a "regular" person is to have a first.

I generally try to treat others with a baseline level of respect, take people at their word (until they give me a good reason to do otherwise), and approach life with some compassion. Those principles have worked out fine in these situations.

When I was in high school, we'd all go hang out in various places with scores of other townie catholic school kids. There was one person who was a guy who dressed as a girl who'd come around, but they were generally mocked and for the most part, looked upon as a weirdo. This was in a group of about 50 kids from the catholic schools, BR High, Scotlandville Magnet, etc. I don't know whatever happened to them but they were most certainly pushed into the fringe and honestly - rightfully so. This was before "transitioning" was a thing.

I have an acquaintance who is married to what she seems to publicly claim is a man but it's obvious this person is a female in some stage of gender reassignment. Both of them are products of academia, which explains why they live in a false reality bubble. I don't really pay them any mind because they mostly keep to themselves and whatever.

Both of these people can live in harmony for the rest of their lives and I hope they do. But this behavior should never be accepted and should remain the extreme edges of normal society. There is no way to transition your gender into anything else. You are what you are. Drugs to help you achieve whatever the frick it is you think you want to do should be illegal and any medical professional should be prosecuted for doing so.

Be attracted to whatever gender you wish. There's clear avenues to achieve it. But you're in the boy or girl camp. There's one of the other. That's all there is and that's all there forever should be.

I went to school with a tranny.

She was a lesbian at the time and has since transitioned. Very smart person but also batshit crazy.

I wasn’t particularly shocked when I found out because she always tended to be the butch, as she went to prom in a tux with her girlfriend.

The one in my family is an actual trans person. Has tried to be like the opposite gender since birth. Their goal is that being trans is the least interesting thing about them. The OP asked if we knew any trans people.

The kid (twenties) across the street is male to female. She is nice, keeps to herself. Her family is nice.

A friend of a friend is female to male. Had top surgery. Lives his life. Has a wife, they’ve adopted kids. Very nice people.

The only one I have an issue with is an elementary male to female. I guarantee that kid’s mom FUBAR’d him. After the divorce she became a man-hating raging liberal wack job. Actually brought her infant daughter home from the hospital in a “Smash the Patriarchy” onesie. That little boy learned quickly mommy hates boys and he better be a girl if he wants mommy to like him.

I once bought a portable Lincoln welding machine on FB. It was a great price. I drove across town to meet the “guy” early on a Saturday morning. I waited at the predetermined meet up location. The guy pulled up in a truck pulling a trailer with I and some other stuff he was selling that day.

He/she is in a dress and was basically a dude with a smear of make up on his face and hair in some kind of page boy style. I mentioned he had a lot of stuff to sell on the trailer. He then said he was transitioning and was selling his workshop stuff to help pay for the “rest” of the process. Yikes….

I paid him got the welder, and bailed. That scenario bothered me for a while.

There was a guy who worked at Jarman Shoes in Cortana by day and masqueraded as “Trixie” by night. I remember him walking around parties (these weren’t even weird parties) saying things such as, “Love your hair; hope you win!”
