Yes. Each one got better. First few you got time warped back to high school. Last few forgot all that and hit the ground running.

I don’t know what school you went to, but I find this hard to believe.

I didn’t fit in with those people the 13 years I went to school with them. I don’t think the years changed anything.

I went to my 5th year reunion. Next year will be my 30th year. I will go as long as it doesn't conflict with other commitments. It's an 8 hour drive but would be worth it to see some old friends.

None of my friends live in my hometown so it's not very easy to get together.

It’s because at 28 they had their first kid and let themselves go and stop trying for their husband. Then at 38 they’ve been divorced and life is a wreck and they got in shape so they can find someone to help supplement income while putting up with their shite kids.

I haven't.

They just did our 20th two years late due to Covid or what have you.

our class had about 280 in it and from the pictures from FB, it only looks like 30-35 showed up?

Hell no. Anyone I care to stay in touch with I do. The rest who cares. I’m not flying across the country to hear about how happy Brad is still living in his hometown selling insurance.

I wouldn't even know how to find out about it. The last time I talked to someone that I went to hs with was probably about 9-10 years ago. I don't do the Facebook thing. I guess I still have some numbers in my phone from back then. Wonder if they still work, mine would.

This probably a good topic for another thread. I have deleted contacts, but it's on a rare occasion that I go through and delete the ones I don't know anymore.

I actually don't mind it that much. I went to HS in Monroe and still follow the football team, even from Houston. I usually go to one home game a year and maybe a playoff game if it is during Turkey Day week. Plus, I still have family and friends there as do most of the guys I still connect with from HS that left Funroe. It really is just an excuse to catch up with I guess my inner circle from HS. You can't do that on FB. Seeing everybody else is just an extra I guess.

OldHickory, from your user name I suspect you've got a few years on you, but probably less than my 83. I got here by being a gym rat, eating well, and watching my weight.

BTW, I enjoyed your seance of humor.

Regards and best wishes.

I didn’t go to my 10th. I still see people I graduated on a regular basis, so I have no desire to see the ones that I don’t see on a regular basis

A few of my friends that went (and are planning on going to the 20th) constantly talk about how awesome it is. I think High School is where they peaked

Went to my 50th a few months ago. Out of a class of 220 we had 51 guys attend.
Conversation with some seemed like we were back in 1972. Overall a nice experience.

Went to my 10th and will not attend my 20th or any other.
20% of my graduating class has died from driving while drunk or drug overdosing.
The good looking chicks all have gained 50 lbs. or more.
Everyone claims that I still look 18.

Have no interest to. We moved to a different town when I was in high school and I went somewhere different for the last two years and graduated there. I didn't like anyone there and didn't really talk to anyone there, so I have no interest in it. The only people from that school I've talked to since graduating were a couple of the teachers I had.

If it wasn’t making it clear, this was one of those girls who obviously went through a fat phase between 18 and 28. It looked like she had found a workout regimen that worked for and was on an upswing, but her belly wasn’t quite as tight as it was in high school.

Pretty much all of the ones I respected don’t go to reunions either

We held a 5th year reunion that I went to. Haven't been to one since. Maybe I'll go to the 20th next year.
