Didn’t go to my 10th. Probably won’t go to my 20th. Won’t go to anything after. Why would anyone want to relive HS? If your single or did nothing with your life, sure. But if you’re actually successful in work or life, you’ve probably forgotten anything back in those days years ago.

We’ve just had our 40th. I’ve tried to make them all . Sometimes we’ve had something every 5 years - our class was only around 200 students

The 10th was okay, but people were still in cliquish high school mode. 20rh was great.
I went to my 10th. It was like you said, the same cliques just gravitated to each other. Most of us were fresh out of college with 1 kid already so there wasn't a whole lot different than high school other than we could talk about lack of sleep from babies and poop diapers.
I missed my 20th. I was head coach of my son's youth football team and that weekend was our biggest game. It was also when cell phone pics started becoming a thing so I got lit up like a Christmas tree by all my buddies letting me know what I was missing. They said it was way better than the 10th except all the dudes and most of the females all got fat.
30th would have been 2020 but as we all know, that was the peak of Covid so it didn't happen. I did hear the 2000 class and 2010 had theirs but on the down low.

Went to tenth and twenty year reunion. Agree with your assessment. Not sure if we’ll do more.
Ten year reunion= “you should have kids, you don’t
Know what you’re missing”.
20 year reunion= “you were soo smart to not have kids. They’re driving me crazy.”

I graduated 26 years ago and I've never been to any of them. Nothing against those people, just not my thing. I hope they are all doing well.

Facebook/social media has made them irrelevant
There is no "past" now. People and things don't have to just casually disappear from your life. You can go online and search for people you knew, even staying in casual contact. You can hear the songs that were popular anytime you want.
I wonder about the ramifications... Will "Nostalgia" stay a thing?

Our 20 year reunion is supposed to be this year. In 2012 it was a huge deal and a bunch of people went but no one has said a word about it this time.

Do you go to HS class reunions?
I went to my 10th.
I skipped my 20th, only because the President of our class created controversy claiming that in the 10th year, black people either didn't get their reunion invitations or they were purposely mailed late, due to the lack of black people attending. That was enough for me to not go.
Our 30th is coming up. I don't see myself attending. Facebook and IG have all but made class reunions irrelevant.

I missed my 30th to take my son hunting. Good decision.

frick no…it’s jocks and cheerleaders trying to relive their glory days.
Most jocks are dead from high blood pressure. Cheerleaders are a bunch of fat asses.
I’d win the “who succeeded in life” game but I don’t really give a damn.
I’d rather have a beer and play a video game.

So long as we have your Xmas serenade playlist.

Unless they were the lead cheerleader, they all balloon up by age 28.
Edit: I’m assuming the lead cheerleaders were probably most likely to go to college and stayed active in intramural or perhaps joined the university’s cheer squad.
All the rest became couch potatoes after flunking out of cosmetology school.

I went to my 20th and surprisingly had a good time. I will probably go to the next one.

I graduated in 07.. My class had a 10 yr reunion but I didn't go. It honestly looked like a bunch of fun on FB and I got fomo, so I'll probably wind up going to 20yr even though most of my old buddies didn't go last time.
